a little about me…
I’ll keep it brief and tell you about my personal journey with controlling my emotions, becoming more self-aware, and feeling content at times…
Growing up in a small town in northwest England, where there was next to no diversity, I always felt different. Being of mixed ethnicity, I stood out. This was a big insecurity for me growing up as a child. In my later teens, I gained confidence for the wrong reasons. Needless to say, I was never self-aware of my misguided actions and emotions until my late 20s/early 30s. I owe thanks to my good friend Stephen, who introduced me to yoga, where my healing journey began. Even now, although I’m better at observing my emotions and controlling my actions, it takes a lot of work sticking to my daily practices to keep myself centred. A strong quote that I found extremely powerful and that sticks with me daily is…
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate. I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become. You are what you do, not what you say you’ll do.” - Carl Jung
Over the last two years, I’ve increased my meditation practices and made them a priority, which I believe manifested the great woman in my life. My darling Faye brought the idea of coaching into my life, for which I’m extremely grateful. I have a real passion to help others improve themselves and live their best life. Through my Chopra studies, I’ve learned that we are our own experts and all we may need is a little guidance to get where we want to be. Whether you’re looking to reach a personal or professional goal, I’m here to help you reach your full potential.
